I can understand the necklace being a little garish cause antiques and changing fashion and all that. I do believe if styled right that necklace could stop being garish and probably enhance someone else's beauty/style but it's such a strong statement piece and reese/reeve/geese/idk is such a wilting lily in terms of presence that it just makes her look like a mannequin.
