On a manga page I can filter out the language I want, but on the mdlist it still tracks every language for updates.
If there isn't a way already, can this get a language specific time filter? it will help greatly for seeing what's new to read instead of needing to load up every page of manga to only find out it updated in a language you can't read.

Didn't the follow notification only shows your selected language? it even works that way for the rss feed.
I believe the still affected is the timestamp for "last update", and it's the same even on the manga listing page.

I mean, you don't have to check your mdlist to check what's new stuff, right?

how would I check what's new without using the mdlist update part?
I mean sure, I could watch groups, or just look at the main page for more recently updated, but if im watching groups then why use this site at all
If I use mangadex.org/updates it puts everything into one area both things I want to see and don't so it turns into a constant I need to sort through things

sorry bout that, some irl things to deal with, so the follower list is a list of everything that i'm following?
If that's the case it may be worth considering renaming it, as it followers implies something quite different then following

either way I think that is what I was looking for, thanks for letting me know it exists

Ok, I ran into a problem, one that will be solved though going though manga I already had following, but still a problem.
in the follows page, I see what I think is every chapters release would it be possible to have an option hide every release and instead just show newest release?

this is a problem that will go away/should go away with time, but its still a bit difficult to deal with

@alidan We plan on adding the ability to sort by stuff you've read and stuff you haven't, yeah.

@alidan
any chapter you already read should automatically marked read. It's the eye indicator before the chapter number and title. The indicator status should be self explanatory but you could hover on it to check it's status.
if you read before following a series it won't automatically flag them as read, but you could click the indicator to toggle it as read (or toggle read indicator to mark it unread) without having to revisit the chapter page anymore, just mark a few of the latest chapter you had read and use them as a marking of old release and newest release.

@plykiya
could it be a toggle to hide/filter the stuff marked read instead of just a short function?

I found a script that makes everything very easy to deal with, where if I have a manga that lets say has 700 chapters and I read 500 of them, I drag the eye down and it will mark all the other ones as read and everything above and not read, this made going though the whole follower list easier to do, should consider adding this to base site functionality.

Could you share the script someway?

The Follows section doesn't go to my last read, and includes the delay updates. (is there a way to get a notification when it'sup, not the delay)
And the MDlist, as others have said, updates on every language update. Very depressing to find an update to realize it's in the wrong language:/
