i mean the snippets we do get is pretty nice tho there is a lot of 'meta' stuff about editors and overworking and deadline and such, so i can imagine they'd wanna be more flexible. Unless some rich otaku is dedicated enough to be like "here's 5k ,give me 10 chapters" or so versus some kinda physical print at like the BL equivalent of comiket (but other than some simple student project/lamination and such i can imagine some basic 'booklet' or so versus like hiring a 3rd party company to do some physical prints or so unless it's just easier in japan even if you don't get accepted into a magazine)

I know the person who made zettai bl is doing a series rn too tho those are also fairly short as well (not 2 pages short but still)
