If its gonna cut straight to him having a powerful monster and core without establishing any growth with some kind of flashback then this series probably aint for me. One of the main appeals of this monster tamer genre is the relationship between the mc and their monster. If the author actual fails to show that while only providing a kind of power fantasy, then as far as I am concerned this is worthless slop.
