I had previously dropped this but decided to give it a chance since I got bored. Amazing story, absolutely crazy.
I just don't get why the author kept pushing the script guy's little crush on Harumi and never really doing anything with it. Not that the romance teasing threw me off completely, but leaving it at that and as something a bit disconnected from the plot is just... meh. The chapter could have cut that comment from the dude, Harumi seems like she couldn't care less about him in that way. If anything her mind might be playing slideshow of Yutaka's submarines on repeat. Even yuri would be more believable than this weird one-sided crush that kept being randomly mentioned here and there.
I personally don't like romance to be sprinkled everywhere if it's not going to be done right, sometimes a story is just about two people and their wacky-ass friendship.
