Had some feelings about this one. Haven't sorted them out yet, so I'm not sure what to say, but it's certainly a ride. Loved it at times, hated it at others, wound up unresolved as the story cuts off abruptly in mid-stream. Parts of it seem like a much less sadistic version of Emergence/Metamorphosis (ShindoL), but it also subverts "bad end" corruption storylines. Plays with some interesting ideas, but since the series was cancelled, it's unclear to what end. Worth it for Distance's art and sensibility, if nothing else.
