The town in the first strip is actually Berberah (ベルバラ), which sounds fancy in Japanese, but ugly in the English localization.
So instead, I went browsing for a random town with a ritzy sounding name, and settled on Billemina from the Ptia map.
And there's no way I could make out what it says on Rhade's sword.

Recently picked up Tactics Ogre: Reborn. Just keep wishing it was Ogre Battle 64. Don't know where my copy is.
Also, that town's name sounds like Barbara. Maybe that name just sounds different to a Japanese ear. It is an insulting name to give though. Roman cultural history isn't something commonly studied anywhere.
