I fucking know, right!? It's honestly to the point of straining credulity and making the story worse. Nara feels like she has literally sub 90 IQ, she is worse than a horror movie characters.
Like she has basically no idea what the fuck is going on in this new world of stuff, has had attempts on her life and soul MULTIPLE times, and yet when she has weird spooky dreams about a ghost following her she wanders off, ON HER OWN, to this place where her pencil is, which she was TOLD SEEKS EVIL, without the guy who has been protecting her, without asking him or telling him, who literally is living DIRECTLY NEXT DOOR INSIDE HER CUPBOARD. It's not even a normal situation where 'something that seems like a good ghost lures the unsuspecting character off because they don't know any better yet and tricks them.' She knows it's evil. She knows it's bad news. Nara deserves to die. She is literally too stupid to be alive and is only being saved by her special destiny and plot contrivance.
She’s kind of dumb. Not trying to be mean to her, but if you explicitly were told that your powers will chase after evil, and it hit something… why would you then try to release the something from your evil targeting power? And not even tell your companions bro??
