Okay, I've decided that the upcoming Chinese New Year will not impact my regular upload schedule. I will continue to upload a chapter each Sunday and Wednesday.

But, once Volume 23 is complete, we will move to Volume 24, the first Oishinbo volume where the entire volume is just one story. As a special treat, I will be uploading one chapter each day until all 9 chapters have been uploaded (The first of these chapters should be uploaded on 25 Feb). If I didn't do this, the story would take a whole month to complete uploading, and I worry that's going to wear away at the readers' patience.

I've taken steps to ensure I have enough backlog to do this, so there's no need to worry.

Yeah, and unfortunately, it's not the only time when Kurita says those lines, even though at that point she should've known about Yamaoka's childhood story with his parents.
The way I read it, I think Kurita is starting to doubt that Yamaoka's telling of his past is completely impartial. She really only learned about Kaibara from someone who absolutely despises Kaibara, but her repeated interactions with Kaibara in person are showing her a more magnanimous side to him.

This is her slowly learning to clap back at Yamaoka. It seems harsh to us, but in her mind, Yamaoka's hatred is probably overblown.

Every time the characters hype up something as being "better than the normal run of the mill kind", I always get curious about the taste. Like I've never seen any restaurant offer that "greenish" shin-soba (probably not possible), so it's not something I would be able to try unless I go to Japan, I guess.

Also, I was a bit distracted by the Aussie guy saying "Yeah nah", but he means "yes". I've never heard "yeah nah" used that way, it's usually used to mean a "no" 😂😂😂 It's kinda short for "yeah, I hear what you're saying, but nah, I disagree/I think you're wrong/that's not it".
