Hey, Mugiwara! As a TL/TS on a couple series, while most people are just reading, I was going 'Holy shit, what a wall of text!'. And then it never stopped. This chap was obviously about 3x the normal work for TL and TS, and you did a great job! While I understand the purpose of the MTL version, the difference is night and day. Thank you for the ton of work on this one.

Oishinbo often goes into wall of text mode when it explains the scientific workings of food, but this chapter uses it to describe political developments, which is notably less interesting.
Even so, I don't want readers to feel bored reading through the text, so I try to give a bit of character to the newscasters.
Kariya is a man who follows politics regularly, and it comes through in his manga. This won't be the last time we encounter politics in Oishinbo, but I'll do my best to keep it accurate to the author's intent, and comfortable to read.
