From the video reviews I've seen, most people would enjoy Rosanjin sukiyaki. It does look more refreshing than the standard sukiyaki or shabu-shabu.

That said, it's worth noting that the opinion Kaibara presented in this chapter seems to be a parroting of Rosanjin's own opinions, and may not fully reflect the opinions of the Japanese populace. There are still a lot of people who enjoy standard sukiyaki and shabu-shabu, gourmand or otherwise.

I've had both sukiyaki and shabu-shabu, and I find both to be delicious.

I never even had sukiyaki LOL, but the Rosanjin style sounds great. Had shabu shabu plenty of times, though.

pretty weird mangaka added black people just for the racist remark. they didnt even come back for the shabu-suki

I feel like there's subtle change in characters and relationships as the series progresses, despite its largely episodic nature. Maybe I'm imagining it? Either way, it's nice.
