It is refreshing that there is not a spark of romance between the chauffeur and the girl, mutual or otherwise. Dude just wants to do his job and keep her from eloping with a deadbeat loser a few years down the line.

I wish there was a way to directly salute a post instead of merely liking it or emoting in a reply. He is simultaneously keeping it casual and professional, walking the tightrope of an appropriate distance. A true friend and confidant, indeed.
