I think it's passable and okay for shoujo demographics.
Not my cup of tea not even because of gender or demographics but because it falls quite hard under lense of scrutiny.
If you ask the correct questions and see beyond FMC's and MMC's interaction you just cannot unsee how drama was made of plastic and connected with tape.
