As someone who's lived through raising a baby, I just wanna point out that there's a HUUUUGE difference between Shiho's mom and that pachinko woman. My wife and I lived away from either of our families and we had a very limited social network where we lived, so we had barely any help taking care of our daughter when she was small, and it was super hard, but at least there were two of us to share the burden. Pachinko lady was completely alone, so it's no wonder at all that it drove her mad. I ain't saying leaving the baby in the car was justified or anything, but people who wanna throw blame at her should try doing what she was forced into themselves first. Shiho's mom on the other hand had all the help she could ask for and she abandoned the family once her daughter was fully grown. I honestly don't even understand why you'd leave at that point, all the difficult stuff is already behind you and you have plenty of opportunities to live your own life.
