the issue is that unlike Warhammer, its the heretics that are in power and DEEEPLY rooted in this world. That shit goes DEEP since they never had any Astartes to progressively take out the trash as it appeared.

Ngl, I am slowly feeling like this world is one of the most dangerous to live in that I've seen in a Universe that remains at a Planetary scale. Even smaller actually, if I remember correctly the story so far has been at the country scale and yet it feels like any wrong turn and you'd end up worse than dead in this world.
