I mean it’s slice of life, it’s pockets of small self contained anecdote that slowly build towards a larger narrative. The middle bits don’t really matter much.

She's an adult and can make her own choices, and not like just turned 18 today an adult but lives by herself working for many years adult. If she can't judge for herself who she wants to date at that point then when will she be able to?

Been a while since health class, but I'm pretty sure nose hair helps keep particulates out of the inner nasal cavities. So without them, you'd probably be sneezing a lot more.

Tell that to Japanese people. A lot of them haaaate seeing nose hairs sticking out.

In all my years of living in Japan, that and “you should lose weight” are the two most unsolicited comments I get.
