I've never understood why some people insist on cooking by themselves when it isn't something they love to do.
Depends on the size of kitchen they grew up with, I'd say. I live in an apartment with a dead end galley kitchen that's so narrow I don't actually know how they got the appliances into place.
You can
sorta squeeze by another person if both people shove themselves against opposite counters, but even that's somewhat tight. We also have
maybe three square feet of usable countertop space in the entire kitchen.
So, yeah, trying to cook in that thing with more than one person is just a massive test of your patience, to the point it becomes a case of "why bother? I'll just do it myself."
