"I'M NOT SURE OF WHAT SHE'LL THINK OF MY HIGH-PITCHED VOICE."
So he uses falsetto when speaking as his female persona? You don't see this detail very often in crossdressing manga (given the paper, non-vocal nature of the medium).

Wait...
There's difference between the two version this time?
Just slight differences in detail, but difference nonetheless.

Maybe not falsetto, that's a dead giveaway for false. Women can do falsetto contrary to myth, but wouldn't need to since unless they have throat damage they would already have a feminine voice.
He(? he intentionally used watashi over boku, but didn't choose to use atashi. i'm not good enough with japanese to grasp the full intention of swapping to the neutral pronoun. it has other connotations, not just a gender connotation. maybe 'they' or 'she' is more appropriate but mostly 'he' is used by the character.) could have trained his voice to be feminine without using falsetto though. Anyone can do it if they practice.
Since the illusion was maintained, at least initially, I doubt he uses falsetto.

well, he does use 'watashi' as well, i'm sure 'husky' deep voiced girls exist in Japan too tho i imagine he sounds like the average male in his office work or there might've been some kinda mention/maybe some jealous male coworkers saying he had a 'feminine' tone to him or so/being popular with the coworkers lol
it's probably a combination of writers block, the pressure for fast releases, having multiple projects and greed
well it's pretty popular/common for twitter comics to be 1-2 pages too, tho you'd think a serialization means they're paid? and have to make more pages or so if not more details/cleanup or so unless they got a good deal but i don't mind short burst chapters versus like, 35 pages every 3 months lol but depends on the series

the advantage of having a paid serialization is more time and consultation, yes. But that doesn't help with writers block and will only temporarily result in more content. The main advantage is less time spent doing menial work (because those can be outsourced now) and an editor that is in charge of quality control.

Would you mind telling what changed?
Page 5-6 are not in the pre-serialization version. They don't really alter the story in anyway, and can be inserted in between the chapter of pre-serialization without making the story change at all. In fact, if you insert them in, reader will even be more outrage of author for unnecessarily dragging the chapter, lol, that's probably why it's not in that version, while in this version, it fills out the chapter to make a cliffhanger for the next.

Reading into it like this, everything just click to me, lol.

oh my god i desperately wish this series got updated quicker lmao
dunno if it's a 'hobby' for them (despite serialization) but who knows, maybe they have some JP equivalent of a patreon to where if ppl donated we'd get sneak peaks or so , but it would be nice if there were some 'generous' fans who could throw money at artists to continue some series versus "i sold mys tory to this editor/publisher so i can't continue it even if i wanted to if it gets cancelled/axe"
