On pg.13, he calls himself "KimTaku" who is Kimura Takuya, a famous leading man actor. He shares the same first name with (Takuya) with Numakawa.
Option 2 in the poll on this page mentions Dali. Salvador Dalí, artist with a very fancy moustache.

pg.14, the poll options are:
1. Numaccho (just a cool name that rolls off the tongue I'm guessing)
2. Numa-Rin (cutesy girl suffix)
3. Numa-tan (-chan, but infantalized because kids have a hard time saying the ch- sound and it caught on)
4. Numabukuro (a play on the area of Ikebukuro in Tokyo, the the kanji for numa 沼 and ike 池 are sort of similar but not really)
5. NUMALION (ヌマライオン)
6. Bessho Takuya (別所 拓也, play on Bessho Tetsuya; actor, host)

pg.15, Miyamoto says that it's "ohmigod". The jp text has him saying that it's やべぇ、これ.
"Yabai" is a strange word which can mean either good or bad, and exist in both positive and negative contextual use at the same time. Something that can be "cool" and "horrible" simultaneously. "Impressive" yet "gross". Miyamoto is both having fun but cringing at the same time.

A status update:
We are now halfway caught up (newest chapter 142 came out yesterday). This also might be a good time to inform everyone....the title is actually "1 day outing diary Foreman"

That's why a lot of these chapters start with "X day, X location...on this day the three of them..."
is it too late to change it now that everyone's already used to it? haha
Anyway, new volume starts here and imho the really fun chapters start here in the corona era

AHAHAHAAHHAHA zamn, this is the most relatable chapter so far! I once paid around ~$1 to an online diary service to delete all of my cringy writing - only to register multiple cringier blogs on that same service Miyamoto's the most normal out of the three of them as expected, Numakawa is so adorkable I can't even

Fortunately all the cringest stuff from my earliest youth was on a forum that got super deleted forever. It's bittersweet, but probably for the best that it's all in the past. I had another blog that I wrote in semifrequently until relatively recently, but it's all just rambling about anime and music.

Very excited to see the Covid-era chapters! I hadn't even considered that this series would tackle that topic, but it makes sense. It'll be sad to see a break from restaurant adventures, those are among my favorites...

Newgrounds. I remember playing this game called Disorderly with my brother when I was a kid. It's a side-scroller beat-em-up game where you're an orderly beating up old people and catching their poop in minigames. I only registered because you needed an account to access the adult content (iirc) and people would upload hentai disguised as flash games.

Thank god I'm not much of a writer so I never got into blogging. I don't even think I'm smart now, so imagine having to read the ramblings of a younger me. Current me is barely keeping it together lol
