Here's the page for the "beer garden" talk where they speak english. Foreman also spoke japenglish when he was at the luxury hotel, giving the garlic bread to the little tourist girl.
The weather has been a hot topic in recent years because climate change has been especially noticeable in Japan. Old people are a bit stubborn when it comes to changing their habits (ie. turning on the aircon at night) because they think that they've lived for 60, 70, 80, etc. years sleeping with the windows open just fine so they can't imagine doing anything else. It's getting hotter though, and they are getting older and older, and you'll hear a lot of news every summer about old people dying in their sleep.
A few years ago, I experienced heat exhaustion while I was asleep. I woke up suddenly and the room was spinning and my throat was really dry. My bed was soaked in sweat and I felt a general, whole body 'fluster'. Stumbled to my fridge and drank a whole lot of water, took a cold shower for a few mins, went to back to bed and felt fine in the morning. Old people...don't have the luxury of doing this. Most of them have mobility issues and are a bit slower to realize how their body is feeling.
