I've been thinking about how to do this chapter back when I picked up this manga. As I get older I try to avoid the f-word because it's mostly used unnecessarily and it takes the focus away from the content of what people are saying. It's also somewhat unpleasant to hear because it changes the entire tone of the sentence/conversation.
Japanese doesn't really have swear words like we do (in my humble opnion). It has aggressive and vulgar language but it doesn't have the outright gravitas that fuck, c*nt, f****t, etc. does.
The old Kaiji scans and anime subs use the f-word very liberally. I've tried to avoid them the entire time up until now, but it's probably better to just use them. Besides, Suga swearing at Foreman makes him look like an annoying and disrespectful little sh*t. Let's put it in there
pg.19, Miyamoto says "Taro-imo~!" (Taro-potato, a sweet potato) which sounds like "tadaima" (I'm home). In order to preserve the joke I had to find food words which rhymed with "home".

There is a certain charm to old scanlations and tls that use curse words way too much. Finally we got introduced to Suga-san!!! I kept seeing him on Hanchō fanarts and fangirled all over the place finally getting to meet him today~
Regarding the f-word - I think it suits his disposition very well. He's so edgy and cocky, really does feel like a spoon of tar dropped into a barrel of honey
With that said, I'm... Kinda looking forward to seeing the reaper Miyamoto?..

I still cant understand week long meal prep, shit just seems to start going bad after 2 days. Probably need to google the basics and having a good fridge.

most cooked dishes don't really get worse until like a week or so i find. just gotta make sure they're sealed in an airtight container. stuff that needs to stay crispy may lose some of the crispiness though, gotta watch out for that.
i'm the type of meal prepper to make one huge batch of something and then just eat leftovers through the week... it works fine, and it's easy, but it's also easy to get sick of it lol.
really liked the introduction of an antagonistic blacksuit! nice contrast with how well everyone usually gets along with Ootsuki

Ootsuki's cooking skills are impressive. Personally, I've tried this type of meal prep– cooking up a storm for one day and coming out with a bunch of sides is super satisfying! But then I realized that I just don't enjoy eating those types of meals (I'm ashamed since it's the bread and butter of home cooking in my culture) and end up missing cooking during the week since it's how I decompress, lol...
