Striking while the iron's hot, one chapter a day while I still have free time!

Title: 黙言 "silent" and "word", a silent message which Ootsuki tries to convey to the shop owners of how the restaurants should be run. Hmmm...Ootsuki doesn't say a single thing to anyone this chapter which means all speech bubbles are thought bubbles. I'm not sure if this is normal but the thought bubbles are like, jagged and thick black lines which means the inside of the bubbles are tinier than usual. I hope everyone has their zoom function ready.

Tiramisu and the punchline at the end. I know that 90s Japan was in love with Tiramisu and imported it from Italy. I've read that it was sickeningly sweet back then and the powder would stick to the back of your throat. That's how they like it there I guess. The tiramisu I'd eat in the west usually had a more bitter and stronger coffee flavor, nothing special.

And finally, thanks for the nice words. I read all of them and it keeps me going, cheers and thank you.

After something oily and crispy like tempura, they should serve a sorbet as contrast maybe... Regardless, Ootsuki, why don't you tell people these things :(

Thanks so much for all your hard work! A chapter a day is an amazing pace!!

The passive aggressiveness is a pretty stereotypical attitude for Japanese people on things they disapprove of. Also it's not like the couple asked for his opinion considering he's a stranger, which might also be a stereotypical thing in Japan (I'm not sure about that part).

So I think it's something like: when you get older you pick your interactions a bit better. Sometimes you just don't bother talking to people because it's troublesome having to maintain relationships with them, or expending energy to be social is kind of tiring. You guys ever start writing a reply on a post or on reddit and decide to delete it halfway through? Same thing imho, not worth the effort xd
