I really like the fresh takes this manga does on some classic/unavoidable tropes.
They want to present a rival, so they do, but instead of having a panel of the 2 rivals with strong determined looks, or have them shout at each other, the author just gives us such a heart warming picture of 2 players smiling.
They want to name a charachter naruto, but instead of making him an overpowered loud brat, they make him a humble, confidence-lacking captain.
and they named the best 8 of the region after a dutch cheese.
