okay MC party trying to kill dark lord to save the human world. but history says "when dark lord and MC meet, shit hits the fan and the world ends". Hong also doesn't want the world to end but he believes MC is too selfish to be trusted to save the world. MC will put achieving dominance above the world ("there can only be one sun in the sky" type shit).
I don't understand how MC crew can save the world if they are looking for confrontation with dark lord. Same with Hong.
Causality would be :
World won't end if the fight isn't too powerful ? Maybe a typical MC+friends that quickly ends antagonist or smth

- MC and dark lord fight so hard world gets screwed
- MC is the driving force behind the confrontation (seems like dark lord didn't make moves to fight her even though he had the same compulsion)
- The world will favor whichever path can save it
