@Insignificant @DudesInCapes I’m not saying that they should ask for permission, I just find it annoying that since I’m not the one uploading it, I can’t update it if I do any changes later on. Also, I just found funny how they are kind of selective with what manga they copy, I thought aggregators just copied everything (or everything in the genre their site is about) that was uploaded.

To be fair to dynasty its actually heavily moderated and will take down stuff when asked. Their tagging system is actually really good and I wish mangadex would emulate it.

Dynasty only uploads manga upon request, and they always try to contact the scanlator if able. I have a feeling that someone there is pretending to be your group and requesting uploads of your releases. If I'm not mistaken, and in my experience as someone who asks stuff to be uploaded there as well, they don't upload anything if it's not linked to them in a filehosting site like Mega, so I think someone is ripping the images off MD and asking for them to be uploaded under your name. That's messed up if true.

You can also ask them to update chapters with their upload request feature. They don't use bots at all.

@ScarecrowB Dynasty is NOT an aggregator like mangakalot, etc. It's actually worth your time to upload your stuff there as well. They don't get money from adverts (there are no adverts) and there are a lot of people who only read stuff there. They don't compress the files or watermark or do other maddening shit like that, either. It's actually a legit reader like M-dex. It just has a HEAVY emphasis on yuri manga. In fact there's a shitton of yuri manga on there that's not here on mangadex.

@afkeroge you don't have to be part of the group to request a manga upload. However, they will attempt to contact the scanlator to see if they don't mind it hosted on on Dynasty. If you didn't get contacted, that means they were most likely unable to get a hold of you (if you're the scanlator) They also try to filter out manga that has bad translations, editing, etc.

tl;dr Dynasty is a good site and you should use both mdex /and/ Dynasty

Well, there you go. Dynasty's actually one of the best manga reading sites available today. Very much worth your time to get your stuff on there, provided that it's yuri and/or something that piques the interest of their uploaders. I personally request my translations to be put up there myself.

@Ichigo69 You said they try to contact the scanlator but at least in my case that isn’t true, and it isn’t that hard to contact me, they could have just send me a DM or @me here in the comments. In any case, what I wanted to transmit was that since I’m not the one uploading the chapters there, there might be discrepancies between the chapters here and there if I made any updates/fixes.

One thing I hate about Mangadex's tagging is that the yuri works are separated into yuri and shoujo ai and works are placed into either tag (or both) based on very arbirtary and inconsistent guidelines. It's super dumb and they won't budge considering this topic is on their do not mention list for site change suggestions.
