Gets trickier once you start getting into the larger side of a C cup.
As a large B/small C (depending on brand), I will frequently go without but it's getting to be a little impractical as they've gotten a little bigger lately. And there's concern about visible nip shape to consider too.
Clothing with built in support is much nicer overall.

Yep!
A lot of dresswear will have what they call "shelf support" but you can find a lot of camis and tanks with built in support (sometimes referred to as "boob pockets" 😁 ). Some brands are making stuff specifically with larger chest sizes in mind now too.
Which isn't even going into corset cuts/tops/ect.
