Damn, thank you for translation! Wonder if a document signed under duress holds any meaning in Japanese courts. :thonk:

You'd already be dead, I think, so even if it's overturned posthumously in court I think the more pressing question is whether the courts' decisions hold any meaning for the ghosts!

It probably doesn't matter. The document isn't really a legal agreement, it's an implied threat and them signing is them saying they understand how they're being threatened.

Took a chance to check this out since SciencyScans was doing it even though it had that big ol' cancelled tag on it. Absolutely worth it. This is a very interesting monster of the week (month) set up with an unfair power dynamic. A victim that I suspect understands that she's effectively using her body to protect herself from beings that want her body. And her rescuer who is pulled along by it because her gayness is greater than her survival instinct.

A shame that it was taken down through factors it had no control over. I'm excited to see what else remains to be told, and hopefully the mangaka will be able to share it again some day.

Wait, "taken down", not just cancelled? What happened?
