Damn, that's one I haven't seen. Aside from the samurai films, I've seen Ikiru, High and Low, and Dersu Uzala.

This chapter is a hard Mood.

I’ve been everyone in this chapter at some point. The kid dragged along and trying to stay entertained (but out of the way), the adult who brought the kid but has something important to do (but keeps getting distracted), and the stressed out person who needs SOMETHING ELSE to think of than the problem at hand

Yeah shame the anime adaptation/OVA is like locked behind a dvd, bc i imagine it'd be harder to torrent
