Though benefit of doubt to the author… the story is more interesting when they interact more playfully with each other and wolf-senpai bonds with Tsukiyama. Writing’s difficult so I can suspend my disbelief for this sort of thing. Plus, like every harem or school romance ever does it with the cardboard mc all the time.

I wasnt talking about this manga specifically , but yeah that too, though normally that doesnt happen much (they probably like it to some degree, but the situation at the time isnt ideal so they dont see it in a good light) but in here it does and yeah what you are saying is true
