Importing/exporting a car is quite a pricey feat, I should know when I shipped my triumph bike from Aus to Europe for a trip that spanned Norway to Spain! And the UK as a side mission for a month lmao. think I spent in the realm of $25-30k in shipping, fuel, and maintenance seeing it was a low km bike in 2021 and (as I'm writing) is ready to tick over 100k kms. next trip I wanna do is Japan and Korea by bike!

Nice tidbit on the mangakas side: they got the number plate right with it being the romanised symbols for overseas/intl travel! A necessary part of the trip indeed! (Yes, you can keep the rego for your car/bike in your home country as long as it's current, paid up, and not restricted in that country by either yours or their laws.
