The pacing of the LN is even slower because there are alot of monologues but the characters are more flesh out there. Yukito monologues are very funny and the monologues of the other characters let you know how much they are suffering for the things they did to Yukito.

The black hair teacher used to be his teacher in elementary school, and an incident happened then with another person:
She was a trainee teacher in his class... Actually all of this should be revealed after this arc as she will be the person to resolve this cheating scandal.

As for when he was missing, MC mentioned he does not remember what happened but he said it was not a good experience (he was scared of something and it was NOT that his sister almost killed him). So no, it wouldn't have been better if he wasn't found.

I'd read the LN. It's actually a bit slower but the story is a lot more fleshed out. I read the manga first then went to read the LN and there are some things missing due to not being able to fit them probably due to manga pacing. I say this but they're not terribly important to the plot. Just more details to it.

We would get the answer to that as well, but if you want to know, it's MC's Aunt (aka., MC's Mother's Younger Sister) who is the reason why MC didn't off'ed himself yet. She (who is a psychologist) basically implanted a suggestion inside MC's mind which stopped him before it got dangerous.

He actually thinks of offing himself all the time, but his aunt put an hypnosis on him that activates everytime he starts to think of that, but because of this Yukito has been losing his emotions as an side effect. Thats the main reason why he is so edgy. But he starts to recover little by little those emotions, we cen see that every time he gets a headache.
