Honestly the whole situation is kinda tragic and realistic for a spin-off of a haha funny harem romcom LN. But really, if a person got rejected and, instead of getting over it, started deteriorating emotionally and pushing their loved ones away - their undoing is no one's fault but their own (in this case it's even more obvious the bullies are more at fault than anything else like c'mon girl). It's crazy how often the person who turns down the advance gets blamed for this kind of stuff
