Damn, this dude is almost never in trouble or never frets about anything. The spectacles are cool looking but for once I'd like to see him actually struggle with something.

Yeah, hard to disagree. New boosts just get pulled out of thin air, there's still no real development even with all the dangling plotlines.
School life has been abandoned, basically no conversations between characters, MC is so ridiculously ahead of anyone else which is fine but it's like he also has zero attachment to anyone (ironically, for a tamer, it's like he sees other humans as bugs or housepets or whatever). Probably not going to keep up with this much longer unless we get some meat and potatoes to go with all the fluff.
