Man, after all those Otaku x Gal, Harem, Melodramatic, lowkey Softcore Porn type shit kinda 'Rom-Coms,' this genuinely felt like a slap in the face reminder of what the Romance genre is capable of.

Interesting premise (although not unique), and an emphasis on empathy over plot-contrived gimmicks. The Characters are treated with so much care and respect as they both navigate their romance, like they actually take the time to think and process their feelings in a healthy way. And also they're so fuckin cute and dorky, I love em💖

It's not the Rom-Com I wanted, but it's one I think I needed.

Mmm, I don't think this one misses any of the regular clichés you'v seen in manga romcoms. It's almost like the author wanted to thread them like pearls.
Add this the unbelievable Superman-like trope where you can't manage to recognize a girl because she tied her hair and put on glasses, while still spending hours a day with her with or without that outfit, and you'll get the most generic romcom imaginable.
It's not exactly bad, just unbelievably unimaginative. Any less personality than this, it'll be transparent.

People are being confused at the two MCs not recognizing each other, but I think they both just have face blindness. I struggle to recognize people when they change their hair, put on glasses or shades, or start wearing a new style of clothes. Not out of the question for someone to simply not recognize the other person.

At this point I'm just reading this out of the sheer audacity of the premise. Personally idk how can you date someone you can't recognize
