Neither Kanji nor Chris have the right to stop Louise from doing what she wants in this case: see and learn the wonders of the modern world. I kinda wanted someone to punch Kanji when he said she was being rash about it. It's clear Louise is excited by it, and it would objectively serve her better to go than to be cooped up in a village out in the sticks.
It's kind of telling how small-minded Kanji was when he was thinking about Louise doing a good job with manual labor instead of letting her put her brain to better use. The man who couldn't man up to even sleep next to his wife is once again strangely not a doormat when it comes to the opportunity to meddle in the lives of others.
Man, I hope Heita gets rejected. It was actually a little fun to see him get ignored by everyone else, he was just so annoying here.
