If he actually cared, he would ask what she is into, what poses she likes, how she likes it, etc. instead he is making an entire movie inside his head about how proper sex is done, ignoring the person he is in bed entirelly

And the protagonist doesn't sees women as humans, he doesn't see them as regular people, and when he sees a regular woman, he marks them as inferior to himself

Ok so i will take the time to correct a misunderstanding on what kind of services a prostitute offers, i had to do my student internship at a psychiatric clinic for my psychologist degree, and while doing that i had to make profile interviews to the admitted patients, and among them there were several sex workers, however everything i am about to say can be checked by a quick google search, this is all public information, but people don't know because talking to sex workers is actually not a common experience people have

Prostitutes, and formally defined as sex workers, who are part of the broad adult entertainment world, exist to offer sexual relief, and that's it

Their jobs don't cover nor include satisfying nor meeting unhinged sexual exploration and demands, nor guiding teaching or tutoring about sex to inexperience or curious people

In fact before taking a service the client has to specify everything that the service will cover, time, the amount of contact, the kind treatment if the worker offers role play (the kind of language and behavior to be used in the act), the level of commitment (hand job, oral sex, coitus, anal sex), the use of condoms, etc

All that is defined at the moment of contact with the SW, before making the payment, which means the client or John, should already know before hand what they want to do with the SW, and how they are going to do it

The sex worker has the right to also turn down a client, so if they all really had found the protagonist as someone disgusting they would have turned down the job

It also seems that most people who take the service of a SW, don't do it in order to meet any particular wild or strange niche fetish, but just to have quick non committal sex, and move on with their lives, what is known as a quick nut, and among those it is even smaller the amount that uses the opportunity to socialize with the SW and "unwind" talk about themselves

Loneliness, and social isolation, was thus a big issue that these kind of people faced, and a factor leading to them being hospitalized, maybe it was because i meet them in a medical environment, but kindness is a common trait i could find in all of them

As for people victims of sex trafficking, because their pimps closely watch their times and monitor their lives, they have to do a quick job, meaning that sexual encounters are even more restricted, while an independent sex worker may spend time talking and chilling with a client and even bond or build a superficial connection, someone that has to answer to a pimp would cut the service ahead of time as soon as a client reaches one orgasm, however this topic is a whole different beast to tackle in just a manga forum

So for the protagonist, and his personal issues with erectile dysfunction and low self esteem, he should have gone to a sex therapist instead, on top of also a regular therapist, which man that's a headache to even thing about

Also if he wanted to learn and explore how to properly pleasure a woman he should have gotten a girlfriend (or use an app for casual sex, which carries its own risk, for example most women in those apps, don't use protection, but they will offer you a learning environment), i know easier said than done, but good sex is at the end of the day communication

In resume, a sex worker wouldn't have helped for none of the issues the protagonist has, but, even with all that said, he acts like way too much of a giga virgin for someone who allegedly has been brothel hopping enough times to suffer an existential crisis mid insertion

Yeah like this chapter is very much the classic insecurity/egotist trap. Looks down on the plain girls and the "monkey like" guys to convince himself he's better than them.

Dude both desperately needs some friends and also that "better than" attitude is a friendship/relationship killer.


Legit do you do any kind of meetup/club/volunteer type thing? I think that's sorta socialization w/training wheels for adults. ETA: I'm suggesting this cause I go to tech/math things w/ folks all over the place on the social skills spectrum.
