What this chapter says about creating manga is more relevant than ever, I hold the same opinion. What attracts people is the idea and how it is presented, everything else are complementary. People can use AI to create billions of excellent "drawings", but almost nobody will care. One artist with a great idea, even if his art is not that good, will impress many more people.
When I first read Origin, I thought that the author did quite a lot of research before writing it. Usually science fiction has no science, it's just futuristic fantasy, nothing there can work, even in theory. Meanwhile Origin gave me the impression that the Author tried to make things make the most sense as possible. I need to read again to confirm, but in any case, excellent work by Boichi.
