Yes, I did use MTL to translate it but it may appear better in places because I didn’t just copy and paste the translation I did end up tweaking some dialogue that just made absolute no sense or if I thought the situation called for it. This was also my first time translating a manga chapter, hence the inconsistent or incorrect names, I mainly used this chapter as practice since another more “professional” chapter already exists and I know have a proper flow to help minimize if not remove problems like this!

Find something else to translate, then, because there's already a group translating this. This is pretty good for a machine translation, but I think people would prefer that this effort be put into a series that's totally untranslated. I've been waiting for a translation of this, for example, and the quality of your translation here is good enough that I don't think most people would mind considering how long its been since it was "added."

Also, a good Japanese-English dictionary you can use is Jisho.org, which can be useful for confirming translations and some name readings. (Though for the latter, you should usually check for furigana first.)

Actually, I think it's a good idea for you to use this as your first try at translating. That way, you can get practice in on something that readers have other options on (i.e. your first attempt at translating isn't the only option available for reading the story), and then once you've got in the groove of things you can take on something that's not been translated yet and apply what you've learned working on this to provide better quality on those other mangas.

After all, there's no real detriment to having more than one scanlation for a given series, but there is a detriment in having a low-quality (not saying yours is, since I haven't actually checked your version yet, but this is just a general point) translation be the only option available for a series.
