To recap here, our MC here is the child of a Cop, but despite this, at the age of I'm guessing 14, saw his friend of whom he has been friend with since they were little children, get raped by her grampa. And when confronted with that reality, decided to abandon her and immediately start pleasuring himself. To which she caught him, confronted him about it, and he then got raped though there are some hints suggesting that he likely enjoyed it himself which can be seen with how often he appears to be wracked with guilt but still decides to continue pleasuring himself.
After that, he then cut off all contact with her. He did not report the situation to anyone, did not try to help her, avoided her entirely and yet somehow behaves as though that was a good thing for her, despite the idea that her grampa is still likely around and continuing to do this to her. Furthermore, there is some suggestion that perhaps her continued rape by her grampa may have started when she was a little child, as the promise he made of marrying her was her line of hope that made her think she could escape into a happy life, but him running away and then pleasuring himself to her suffering likely broke that desperate love and hope she had that was pinned on him, something that originally was pure but was tainted by his own hand jerking himself off to her silent plea for being saved.
Now the MC continues to behave in a cowardly manner, potentially rebounding his affection to something that he is not. Someone who is tall, attractive, powerful and righteous. Someone who he isn't. He has internally washed himself of all culpability in denial, but still worries about the events that occurred coming to light out of self preservation. So we further cement down even more how cowardly, selfish and scummy the MC is.
As for Ayana, we further confirm just how broken she is, her last light of hope became her singular obsession and all of this could be solved if the MC actually properly repented for all of this, but he isn't repenting. He is just looking to be forgiven so he can move on to be happy and not have a hand on this mess, this mess that he made worse by not doing the right thing at the crucial moment in time that he stumbled unto.
Her actions are understandable but obviously illegal. Blackmailing, invasion of privacy, coercion, rape. Objectively speaking, she also deserves jail time... Well they're teenagers, so juvie. Meanwhile, her grampa deserves the biggest shanking of his life in prison. But the target of her actions is deserving of the misery it puts him unto. It's a broken kid reaching out to a scumbag kid for help. There's only misery to be found.
Miya in the meantime is just a good kid who does not know the context to anything happening and is a girl naturally in her teenage years and getting the natural desires that wells up with that. That said, she's also just a teenager who hopefully will move on from this first love of hers and unto someone better because he's clearly trying to pull the wool over her eyes not so that he can make her happy, but so that she can make him happy. The MC may "love" her, but he clearly is mostly focused on using her for his happiness while trying to shovel all of his guilt and wrongdoing under the carpet and hope to ignore it and have it be ignored and never come back to haunt him.
I hope dearly that the ending is that the MC's actions comes to light, his relationships are all broken, and that he gets to live on a miserable existence. He has all the rights to try to find some happiness in that miserable existence, but at a bare minimum, his inaction and his shameful sexualization of a rape victim needs to be made public, at a minimum to his parents and to his school because he truly deserves to have his social life properly ruined.
Meanwhile. I hope Miya finds happiness with a good guy. Perhaps the MC's friend that actually had the balls to stop the girls from uploading the video bullying Ayana. He has little screen time but seemed like a stand up guy. And as for Ayana herself, I said it in a previous chapter I'll repeat it. I hope she finds a good foster family and a better person who will be able to try to fix her (Mission impossible, good luck). But alternatively, she could also just get knocked up by the MC, not be married to him, and just raise the kid with all the untainted love she wanted to offer to someone but was unable to because everyone whose relations should have been pure has abandoned her.
As the MC said in the previous chapter. Her dad left in a divorce. Her mom has two jobs so she's an absent parent. The Grampa is likely the guardian always looking after her and probably always raping her ever since a very young age, more likely than not, and the only other person who got close to her was the MC, whose only action that would've been worse than what he did would've been to have joined in with the Grampa in raping her. Okay, maybe not the only worse action he could've taken, but in the mindset of what sort of damage he did to her, that's the next step of elevation of worse decision to take.
