The little umbrella thing with the heart she's drawing on p11 is usually completed by writing two people's names under it to imply they're in love (basically evoking the trope of sharing an umbrella with a romantic interest). To me this seems to imply that she had a little crush on someone, but who could it be? Some mysteries, alas, may never be solved.
