I thought Ruby would be the one to pursue the two criminals, not asking Aqua.
Speaking of which, I wonder what he wishes for.
And we finally get another mention of 15 Years of Lies. How exciting.

That's really selfish of her... I understand that it's a huge shock and she's in pain but to realise that her brother is also in pain and has been on a mission this whole time and then to not even reach out to him? I wish they had better communication.

Same tbh i love seeing aqua move on tbh he reminds me a lot of Thorfinn
in the sense that they both wanted revenge and in the end they never could get that revenge on the person who they believed wronged them. But after they move on and find something new and move on in life

It just feels like we r going back to square 1 all over again. Seeing aqua be free is the best stuff in the entire show. I have always loved

This chapter made me hate two characters at once.
Both selfish and horrible people.

Akane, who figured everything out but refuses to tell Aqua because she "doesn't want him to go back to living just for revenge". scoffs Yeah, right. We all know that she's scared he'll leave her if she tells him. She has no right to keep something that big hidden from him. When he finds out, I hope he's breaks her small and ugly heart.

And then his sister....really? You find out that your brother has been struggling for long because he's been looking for their mother's murderer, but instead of worrying for him, you pray that he finds the killer???

Really....all the women in this are just selfish beings. I really wish they just focus more on Aqua instead.

Late reply but:
As shown Ruby (who's arguably a bit slower on the uptake than Akane) didn't sleep this night but instead was grinding her gears.
Since Aqua never tried hiding he (supposedly) doesn't like acting, yet still worked for the director and participated in various works there must've been a deeper meaning behind things.
The incident (finding the corpse) gave her the push to pursue and think about this reason of Aqua's a bit more.
And with the small hint given by Akane she arrived at the right conclusion.
Maybe the weird crow girl told her something more or it's siblings having similar thoughts or whatever.

I think she was having thoughts of revenge now that she learned the stalker didn't act on his own (a thing Aqua figured out years ago).
And when she started planning her revenge (aka how to find the one responsible, I don't think she has identified them as their father yet) she realised her plan showed similarities to her brother's actions.

Anyway, that's my take
