I almost feel like this is a chapter we could have used earlier for exactly these reasons. "Guy who mistrusts girls" is so common and so often a gross trope I almost didn't even start this one, but it's been genuinely cute so far. And now at least we have some actual much-needed context. All we'd gotten on this front so far was Tell, but this chapter is finally the Show.

To be clear, as far as I know most shoujo manga have more than 1 guy falling for the FMC (reverse harem). As someone with double standards, I dont like that (harem is fine tho =)).

I used to not care about Demographics, but I've watched a very famous anime, Maid Sama and there was a scene that a jerk-fuckboy tried to rape the FMC. That scene made me feel this ain’t it. Then I checked manga spoilers and found out the jerk was whitewashed and successfully force-kiss her in front of the MC even though FMC-MC were already a couple. Whats worse, some girls in comment showing their affection for that jerk. WTF??

Later I watched A Sign of Affection and dropped after 2 eps. I realized that hard for me to watch shoujo manga/anime, unless there's only 1 MC-FMC.

Back to this manga, if its still shoujo, I bet 90% the older brother will fall for the FMC and love polygon drama will happen. If thats the case, I think I may drop it

holy...casually crapping on the only shoujo manga i could enjoy? yeah. scumbag gets to literally steal a kiss, and FMC still makes him a 3rd wheel...no there's also boi with scar on his cheek so...4th...wheel?.. I do agree and was a bit bummed he got his happy ending with his fiance by the end. but we don't care about that. Usui got his maid and had 2 kids with her~
