This is gonna sound really strange, but im really glad this manga keeps doing boring crap like this. It will happily use the most basic cookie cutter tropes for a kicked from the party story but then will break the mould by doing stuff like not giving the old party a full blown redemption/decline ark. Instead the main guy is brought up then offed in a few chapters, the evil ex is killed in 2 chapters. And right as it starts to get my hopes up it brings them straight back down, which stops me getting too invested that when it gets the axe (we all know it'll get the axe) its not gonna hurt too much. I get an enjoyable story thats not gonna have me on the edge of my seat.
