Alchemy is the bullshit version of chemistry, along with powerful combat arts (sometimes fueled by human souls).

Anyways, his experiment clearly worked, and he turned into a really cute girl! That said, apparently he also mixed it with a gender bending potion since a male chest size increasing drug would also be of use.
