honestly haru pisses me off he pushes off kaede’s feelings for years and only when she starts to try and move on does he notice her? cause he took her feelings and attention for granted and got possessive when she/iori tries to make her happy then can’t own up to his own actions kissing her and messing with her feelings and even blames others for it

lovely complex was good even though it had a somewhat similar dynamic because 1. they were kids and 2. otani did in fact like someone else for a good bit and the time he took to figure his feelings out was much much less (and didn’t completely depend on someone else explaining them to him like haru)

ggughh i just feel like haru doesn’t like kaede so much as feel jealous that he isn’t getting her unconditional attention anymore

this is the reason why i hate these romance dramas and even some harems have this same shit, childhood friend either boy or girl show no love interest in the other, but the moment a third party show interest in one of them the other ones starts getting jealous and doesnt like the fact they start getting close to the new person, it pisses me off so much
