"may I ask you a direct question?"
Poses the question in the most ambiguous and roundabout way possible...
Lady, if you think you are entering a contractual marriage, you should at least read the contract before signing...

Yes, I just noticed this now. We will re-edit this chapter entirely, and we apologize for this unintentional mistake. Thank you for pointing it out, and if there’s anything else you’d like to bring to our attention, please let us know.
There are many bubbles were there's part of the text missing:
"thanks to her skills and excellence, she secured a prestigious position at the"
"I don't think any outfit could make me look appropriate, but for the engagement party,"
"in a shared partnership, it is natural to review the basic terms together to ensure clarity and" just to name a few...

When the synopsis talked about her being of unmarriagable age and having spent her entire life after the engagement got broken off on work, I didn't expect her to be 21 and the prime minister(!) to be 23.
I hope I misunderstood, because they should both be at least 10 years older for this to make sense.

She is 26. She became known as the “great lady” at 21 but the narration states clearly says she is 26. Now, that is a bit older in terms of noble marriage in the past but I’m not sure that’s considered unmarriageable.

You are right, I misssed that. Taking what will happen in the next chapters into account, that is also an age I can live with.

See? This is how you write a misunderstanding. They both have a full conversation, but with bad assumptions.
And even better
it gets resolved quickly, because they talk, and not dragged out over 100 chapters.
