Mostly right. But Envy, the Leviathan did not accidentally kill the Sea King/Emperor She found him properly after strategically searching for their nest. Despite being distracted by the shiny coral castle, she still politely asked him to come with her along with his shiny house. She brought him limbless but alive to Rare who agreed that it was his fault for being stubborn against the power difference. Then Rare just personally finished him off after further interrogation. It's confusing though how he supposedly has a separate race name "Rugal Abgal" along with the mermaid queen's "Teritu Oannes" who is supposedly on par with him. Either aquatic calamities are special exemptions who just get an extra title or "Sea King/Emperor" itself is just a made-up name because their race name is hard to remember. Also, I do wish Rare cuts the pitiful fishmen some slack in the end and try to offer some compensation at least. If they still refuse then oh well.
The insect evolution line merges like this as I understand:
various types of Ant/Spider/Beetle/Termite -> x Queen/King -> Arthropod Queen -> Insect Queen
The known calamity one that was also present during the seal is the evolved Termite King of the Eastern Continent who continues to be called as King but is racially a Queen which confused Rare for a long while if Insect King is different from Insect Queen that her Ant Queen Sugaru double evolved into.
It's not clear if it's due to Zoids experiments or if it's an innate trait but the demons of the southern continent have a wide form variety(seems fixed, not shapeshift). Suleiman is the Arch Demon who has the form of a dragon. Not sure if they have another way to increase numbers but they started as Bertha's homunculus spawns as a demonic spirit in contrast to her brother's angels as a spirit/spirit lord.
