@Dezaki lol Dowager means former queen, so it's his mother who was his father's queen. His queen his wife. XD

"Dowager" is part of an official title, not a name. If somebody is the "Queen Dowager" it means that they are the widow of the previous king-- that is, they are the previous queen. If somebody is the "Empress Dowager", it's much the same.

Am I the only one who thinks Gred's logic is really faulty? He basically didn't tell anyone involved what he was planning and told MC only
"Ok, thanks for giving birth to an heir, i'ma send you back now, k? You have no right to refuse btw. Oh yea, i'll raise your son well in your stead and tell your husband you were totally depressed and wanted to go home."
and then starts with casting some suspicious magic.

And now it's all, "Oh yeah, just wanted to protect you from the queen dowagers scheme because she ACTUALLY wanted to send you back and i totally didn't."

How exactly did he imagine this would a) be ok and b) actually work without the involved parties rebelling?

@Lazytyke No, you're not. Gred's reasoning for not informing Feza is incredibly poor, as was his plan for executing it. Basically, he's incompetent, I think.

That's a pretty terrible excuse for not telling the prince. It's basically admitting he's ready to sacrifice her for the kingdom, but she's fine with that and coming back to him when there's no need to get rid of her. He's only being kept out of the loop so he can save face, and not tell her directly that she needs to die a martyr for people she has no loyalties too. Of course they'll reveal that he would never do that, and she should have trusted him all along, fucking hacks.

Everyone of these shoujo romances revolves solely around a lover being more faithful than the protagonist gives them credit. Well that or they're a yandere obsessed with dominating her. It's all justified by an extreme inferiority complex even though the protagonist is flawless, unconventionally attractive and the lover has no history of being unfaithful. Meanwhile she traverses around with a dozen bachelors waiting on her with no one batting an eye.

That cant be her they havent even shown them going though the secret passage. Even though Gred is full of lies I do kind of think the Queen may be involved in some way

Yeah, Gred could have made up all this bullshit and tell her a convenient lie. Well, he did not try to kill her. That speaks in his favor. But maybe she really is the key to return much magical energy to the world...good reason for a magican to keep her hidden, where only he know where she is.

So...that war was several THOUSAND years ago and there was peace in the meantime...and in that break everything everyone knew was, that it won't last....even though it already lasted thousands of years...that's some pretty study, fragile peace there, alright.
