I can't really consider a train to be such a splendid place for a party. It's cramped, being very narrow and long, further divided into segments, the train cars. It's also rather noisy. Most railway passenger carriages also aren't designed for party purposes. If there's a suspicion some of the VIPs are being targeted, it's an exceedingly poor choice. It doesn't take that much to derail a train. If something goes wrong between towns, help will take time to arrive.

The only plus sides are that if the route is scenic, guests can enjoy watching the scenery. If it's a party for train enthusiasts, then it can be naturally a good choice.
