What was the point of that whole train operation for the insurgents? It seemed totally pointless. I'm not sure what they even expected to happen if they succeeded. It almost seems like the major goal was only for Lecter Landstar to publicly reveal himself as a terrorist boss.
He should probably have followed with "or at least I was the weapon used for the deed" (because as mentioned in earlier chapters, he was 'just following orders' and 'someone else would have done it instead').
Or he could have done the "but that's not important right now", even that would have been better? (Or maybe this is the Japanese version of that)
